C. Norman Shealy, MD, PhD, is a neurosurgeon, a psychiatrist and founder of the American Holistic Medical Association. He is President of Holos Institute for Health, an organization devoted to research and education in holistic health. Dr. Shealy holds 13 patents and introduced the Concepts of Dorsal Column Stimulation and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). He has published over 300 articles and is the author of 26 books, including Medical Intuition. Dr. Shealy has trained several notable Medical Intuitives, including Caroline Myss. He co-founded the American Board for Scientific Medical Intuition.
